Today we had the finals of the men versus ladies final which I had the great pleasure to mark.

The match was started and from the outset we could tell it was going to be a great game both players were evenly matched all the way through . No one took a big lead which made it very exciting game. The final was won by our ladies champion Kate Adie runner up Chris Armstrong. Thanks to both of the competitors who now represent Collingwood in the club champions games next year . I wish them all the best and I know they will represent our great club the way they showed today with great sportsmanship.

Also I would like to say a very big thankyou to our Mr bowls Michael Wilson for all he’s work on presenting the trophies this year it’s a great pleasure seeing him back at our club.
