And what a day it was - not put off by the rain, club members came out in good numbers to support the finalist and they were rewarded with first class exciting bowling.

An added enjoyment to the day was the superb food and drink during the matches, supplied my those present and enjoyed by all.

The matches were hard fought and as expected either player in each of the games could have come out the winner, making it all the more enjoyabe to watch.

Thanks go to the members who took the time to preside over the matches to mark.

A special mention to Stacey Scott - steadfast as ever - who participated in the taking of the photographs during the day and in her role as Collingwood's honorary trophy polisher.

There are so many people in Collingwood Bowling Club who give their time and energy to make the club what it is, they are all appreciated, however the continued behind the scenes organisation by Collingwood Club Secretary, Fabian Scott made Finals day special

The club remodeling will effect our 'closed season' coffee mornings - however discussion is going on and any news on the matter will be updated as it happens.
